another thing is that acording to WOTC all rares are ecually printed just like comons and uncomons.so its not just the rariti of the cards (cuse there are rares that are worth less than uncomons) its how many people want it and how much they want.

try to put an anger in your graveyard and then with the shapeshifter put a dragon tyrant into play.
he is a 6\6 trample flying double strike.

the polluted delta minimizes the amount of mana that he draws.
when you play a fetch land you serch for a land in your deck.so if there are 20 lands in your deck and you play a fetch land you have now 18 lands left in your deck.

the people who create the cards dont know exactly wich cards are going to be played more than other, so i think they decide it by the mana cost and the effect the card has.
sometimes they dont know if the mana cost is too high or too low and then you get the really good rares or the really bad ones.
